Back Pain explains what back pain is and how it can be treated and prevented.
For good sitting posture, you need as much of the S-curve of course!
First, whilst seated in a chair, slump or slouch completely. Now do the opposite and really sit up arching your lower back and really open your chest. Good.
Now, find the mid-point of these 2 extremes and you will have approximately the ideal position.

Once you have your low back sorted out, do remember to gently draw your shoulder blades down and back, in other words, open out your chest a little (stops the rounded shoulders!).

In this good posture, you should place some sort of support such as a towel or small cushion in the small of your back and sit back into the chair so you are well supported.

Maintain this posture as best you can with minimal tension in your shoulders and you will be doing well. It takes work but it will pay in your health!
